Politzer Society

The basic principles of surgery for cholesteatoma were established by Politzer in 20th century. Most of the techniques evolved in respect of chronic ear surgery emanated from several German universities, and many flocked there from all over the globe to learn the new way of thinking and new techniques. The sub specialities of Otorhinolaryngology are Surgical oncology, Micro vascular reconstruction, Endocrine surgery, Endoscopic Surgery.

USA Medical Societies: It is to foster dialog on, and dissemination of, information pertaining to advances in the understanding and management of otologic and neurotologic disorders. It has a rich and relatively well documented history which goes back more than a century and a quarter.  For many years the meeting locations of the American Otological  and Ophthalmological Societies in the same location on subsequent days.

European Medical Societies: The International Federation of ORL Societies (IFOS), is a non-political organization representing over 50,000 Otolaryngologists belonging to about 120 member nations. There are many European and National Societies in Europe located in Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Portugal, Turkey, Netherlands, UK.   

Asia- Pacific Medical Societies: Head Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC) is the leading cause of death and disability in most parts of the world. People suffer from delayed diagnosis, inadequate treatment, inappropriate rehabilitation and palliation. HNSCC control requires a multi-sectorial response from the Government, Non-Government Organizations, health care professionals, civil society, academia, and industry. The world's attention on effective care and control of HNSCC, International Federation of Head Neck Oncologic Society has proposed 27th July as the World Head Neck Cancer Day.

Middle East Medical Societies: Societies and Association located in the Middle East region are almost 376 in number.
